Container Information and Dimensions
Technical dimensions, volume capacities, and loading standards
for 20', 40', and High Cube containers
Container Standards in International Transport
Choosing the right equipment in logistics processes is the most critical factor for cargo safety and cost optimization. ISO standard containers ensure your cargo is transported safely without handling, thanks to their modular structures. On this page, you can find technical details of container types used for general cargo and special loads.
The most common types used in the industry are **20' DC (Standard)** and **40' DC** containers. While 20' containers are generally preferred for heavy and dense loads (approximately 33 m³), 40' and **40' High Cube (HC)** containers offer ideal solutions for voluminous loads (approximately 76 m³). High Cube containers are approximately 30 cm higher than standard ones.
When planning your loading, attention should be paid to the container's internal dimensions, door opening sizes, and maximum weight limits (Payload). The tables below will help you choose the right unit for your cargo and plan your transport operation most efficiently. As Rumi Logistics, we are at your service with our wide equipment network.
Advantages of Container Transport
We make a difference with secure, standard, and integrated transport solutions
